Clerestory Window - Hold your socks on. This is for those of you who want to spend some time creating more of an art quilt... The techniques are not difficult, but choosing fabrics, values and sewing angles takes time. It's well worth it when you end up with this gorgeous heirloom quilt, though! Don't forget to go to the tips page for ideas and techniques.

In the Courtyard at Dawn - Beginner to Intermediate level - uses 3 different blocks (one is a twist) and is set on point so takes a little more time to sew.

French Roast - Beginner level - Great for retreats or a weekend project this goes together lickety split. Three different blocks cause the interlocking weave and the piano keys border is the perfect (and fast) ending.

Trellis - You cannot get any more basic than this repeat block pattern. Using two different blocks you can whip this one out. No worries about fabric placement, either, as it is all very simple and very clear. An ideal weekend or retreat project.

Stars and Garters - Repeat blocks and pieced sashing makes this quilt a lot simpler than it looks. The challenge is your color placement so use a design wall for ultimate success!
